We are putting on a skills workshop for folks interested in learning more about normal pregnancy and birth care. This is geared towards student midwives, assistant midwives, and parents wanting to complete their own prenatal care and birth unassisted.
If you know us, you know this will be from a Christian perspective, but everyone is welcome! There is a $60 fee for this 8 hour class.
Some topics to be covered are: vital signs, fundal measurement, palpation/belly mapping, normal labor and cardinal movements, fetal heart tones, sterile technique, basics of resuscitation, helping with hemorrhage, and more!
